An i9 for a mid-range device at this price point means it has the best CPU among all the mid-range RTX 4060 gaming laptops. Of course, it didn’t put that processing power to waste since it was paired with 32 GB of RAM. So multimedia professionals that want the beefiest CPU they can have at mid-range(ish) prices ought to consider this.

If you are concerned with warranty or replacements, you can always just add on a 2 or 4-Year Protection Plan from Amazon and the product would still be more affordable compared to anything with similar specs.

The caveat? Well, the CPU is previous-gen but seeing as it’s a 12th-gen i7, it’s more or less equivalent to a 13th-gen i5 in terms of performance. And at 1080p, the processor matters quite a lot. You’ll also be pleased to know that it comes with DDR5 RAM despite the cost-cutting, which is a step in the right direction.
