Combining astounding power in a sleek, small, and light chassis, this laptop doesn’t skimp on internals or features that improve your overall computing experience, making it the best 15-inch Dell laptop of 2021.

The Dell XPS 15 (2020) is a machine that is strong enough to do most work outside of 3D design but yet elevated enough to include a keyboard and touchpad that are both a delight to use, as well as an amazing display and great-sounding speakers. Its relative affordability is also a selling element. While more expensive than some of its competitors, the Dell XPS 15 (2020) is much less expensive than the 16-inch MacBook Pro.

Aside from the expensive flagship laptops that Dell produces, there are other value-for-money models available — the selection on Dell’s website is so large that you’re guaranteed to find something that meets your budget. The Inspiron range is a wonderful place to start, and the Dell Inspiron 15 3000 is especially appealing.

The major attraction is a pricey 15.6-inch screen — large screens aren’t always a guarantee at lower price ranges. Still, the display attached to this Dell laptop allows your video streaming programmes, web browsers, and whatever else you want to run plenty of room to move around in.

The Inspiron 15 3000 configuration reviewed here sports a 15-inch screen, begins at $293 and costs $369 when tested. It has all of the physical attributes of a good low-cost laptop, but it suffers from poor performance and, especially, poor display quality in its lower price range.

You get some really good features along with that screen, like SSD hard drives and AMD chipsets on certain variants. Of course, shopping for some best Dell laptops at this end of the market means foregoing heavy gaming or video editing, but for a good-looking computer that can handle the essentials, this is great.

  • 17.0″ display “FHD+
  • Storage: up to 2TB M.2 PCIe NVMe

The new Dell XPS 17 is truly gorgeous if you want the capabilities of a workstation without sacrificing aesthetics. Its 17-inch, the 500-nit display may be configured as FHD+ or 3840 x 2400 UHD, and you may have 64MB of DDR4 RAM, a 2TB SSD, and a 6GB GeForce RTX 2060 in a PC powered by an 8-core, 5.3GHz 10th Generation Intel Core i9. Of course, you don’t have to use all of the options to obtain good results, but it’s a lot of fun if you do.

This Dell is both attractive and strong. The XPS 17 (2020) features the same gorgeous design as its smaller brothers. For your connectivity needs, the XPS also offers Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5. It’s a tad heavy at 2.11kg, but laptops of this size are typically purchased as desktop replacements, so that’s not a big deal.

This is one of the greatest Dell laptops available, including a large, brilliant screen, amazing battery life that will last you the entire day, and a great design on top of everything else. Of course, that’s not even considering its mid-range price of entry, which gives the MacBook Pro 16-inch a run for its money.
